Mrs Mpungose was born and bred Madlankala Reserve outside Esikhawini Township. She is a mother of 3 and a grandmother of two.She has been at the University of Zululand for 23 years. Mrs Mpungose started as a cleaner and worked her way to the top. Mrs Mpungose is an adventurous person who has passion for out door activties. She lives by scripture in the book of Lamentations 3:24. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
