Mrs FJR Tarwireyi is aLecturer in the Department of Economics. She holds an MCom Economics degree and is currently pursuing his PhD in Economics. Her research interests is in Microfinance which is a category of financial services targeting individuals and small businesses who lack access to conventional banking and related services. Her academic journey started in 2017 after 6 years of being a coordinator in the Faculty of Commerce, Adminstration and Law and the Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

• MCom Economics (UFH),
• BCom Hons Economics (Rhodes University),
• BCom General (Economics and Business Management) (UFH).

Research interests:  Microfinance and Poverty.

Professional membership:  ESSA General Member.
