Msizi is a Senior Lecturer in the auditing discipline of the department of accounting and auditing and currently leads the discipline. He lectures the 4^th and final year undergraduate auditing offering of the department “Business and Governance”.

He is also involved in the SAICA ITC marking, the SAICA CA2025 academic working group and the external review of auditing assessments for other universities.
